Avocado is a great fruit that has been used for various purposes. For the rest of us, we all know avocado as the best fruit for making salads and dips. Simple Recipes for Skin Care Using Avocado
For puffed eyes, cut avocado into thin slices and place each slice under your eyes. Rest in a shady place and relax for 20 minutes. For an eye cream decoction, mix three slices of avocado fruit with 5 drops of almond oil. Turn this into a puree and dab around the eye area. Leave this on for five minutes before rinsing. Another variation of the eye cream recipe is using prepared aloe vera gel. Use avocado oil by mixing one-fourth cup of avocado oil with one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel. Feel free to mix your avocado slices or oil with oils from apricot seed, grape seed or sesame.
As a facial mask, half an avocado can be mashed or pureed to a thick paste. Keep it on your face for 15 minutes and then rinse well. You can also add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the paste to improve the texture and speed of absorption into the skin.
Hand models know that avocado is the secret to smooth and beautiful hands. Apply a paste made of one fourth cup macerated avocado pulp, one egg white, two tablespoons of oatmeal and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Leave this paste on for 20 minutes. Rinse it with warm water.
